The maple bed is original to this house as is the antique brass overhead light fixture with beveled and etched glass.  The mellow longleaf yellow pine floors are throughout the bedroom and sitting area.  The large windows entice you to the garden, fish pond and waterfall below, which are lit by moonlights in the 400-year-old live oak tree.

Adjoining the bedroom, the separate sitting area, with deep barn red walls, makes you feel as though you are experiencing a stateroom. The 100 year-old ship's porthole door is a perfect detail for the Stateroom!  Comfy loveseat, oars, a deck chair, ship books, a Navy suit, shells and interest pieces complete the picture.
