NOTE - Please call or email us to make a room reservation for one of our artistic retreats; on our regular reservation system, we've blocked out the dates for the retreats to reserve them for retreat participants.

Bed and breakfast and light lunch, snacks and a tour of our historic Granbury, Texas Iron Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast are included in the price of the retreat.

We have a choice of 3 types of accommodations at our grand Iron Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast in Granbury - the largest historic home in Granbury. Book early to select the room of your choice!  Follow our links to each for for detailed descriptions.

Suites:  Cogdell Suite, Baron’s Balcony, Nantucket Cottage, StateRoom, with private full baths and sitting rooms.

Bedrooms:  Campaign Room, Wine Cellar, Pullman Room, with private full baths.

Our separate 1950’s house on the grounds known as Garden Gate Cottage can accommodate up to 5 people (includes living room, fully equipped kitchen, 1 shared full bathroom in hallway. Twin beds, pull- out twin sofa, and queen bed.)

Retreat Policies

  • Deposit: a 50% deposit is required.

  • Cancellation: a minimum of 30 days prior to retreat.

  • Cancellations less than 30 days prior to retreat: a $75 penalty is required.

  • Check-in: for all retreats on first day before 1pm. If later. Please call to make arrangements.

  • Check-out: all rooms must be vacated by 12pm on the final day, but guests are free to use all of the facilities until 4pm.

  • Painting projects: please limit to studios only.

  • Smoking: outside only please.

  • Pets: Please leave your pets at home.  They can enjoy your projects once you return!
